TOgether in Action: Elevating Lives Through Service, Sisterhood and Community Outreach
The program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. The International Program includes five program initiatives that are designed to advance the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. These initiatives will improve the lives of those we serve. We work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service.
Scholarships That Honor Legacy and Lift Futures
Theta Omega through its philanthropic arm, The AKArama Foundation, Incorporated is committed to educational equity and excellence. Each year, we proudly award scholarships to qualified students who reside in Chicago and are pursuing higher education. These scholarships support students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), those with exceptional academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, and aspiring professionals in education, STEM, public service, social work, and the arts.
