Administration Highlights

● Administered and pivoted chapter operations, programs, and events in 2020 and most of 2021 in a virtual environment due to COVID-19 pandemic.
● Conducted seventy-seven zoom program sessions for the community focusing on pandemic issues and the goals of the Excellence administration. Program events were posted on YouTube and Facebook for later viewing.
● Held the first virtual AKArama fundraising event in 2021 featuring performances by the Soul Collective, Damon Williams, and a dance party with Vince Adams.
● Established a committee to develop a plan to retire the mortgage on the AKArama Community Service Center resulting in the mortgage being retired in 2022.
